Introduction To NTSE(NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM) :-

NTSE is so called NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM. NTSE is sponsored by government of india. We can say NTSE is well know exam as more than 19 Lakh student appear to NTSE exam. This massive appearance In ntse exam decrease in NTSE candidate to selection ratio to approx .001%

HISTORY OF NTSE*(NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM)

 NTSE was introduced in Delhi in the year 1963. This year NTSE is restricted to Only delhi region with the capacity of Only 10 students for class 11th.

In 1964, NTSE become a national scheme as NTSE is extended to All STATE AND UNION TERRITORIES with the increased capacity of 350 students only for class 11th.

In 1976, NTSE extended to 500 student with the increase of examination pattern. Now Paper of NTSE contains MAT (MENTAL ABILITY TEST) and SAT(SCHOLASTICS ABLITY TEST) with The extension in class to 10th, 11th and 12th.

By 1981, A new era came with reservation in NTSE. By this year, the number of scholarship raise to 550, with 50 seats for ST AND ST. IN 1983, NTSE scholarship raised to 750 seats with 70 seats to SC AND ST. 

In 2000, seats of NTSE rise to 1000 scholarship with reservation of 15% for SC and 7.5% to ST.

In 2010, drastic change occur to NTSE. As applicant of NTSE are from class 8th with 3% unordinary reservation to PWD candidate.  One major thing occour this year GOVERNMENT STARTS TO AWARD STUDENT A SUM OF 500 RUPPEE FROM 9TH TO 12TH.

After some year, NTSE CUM NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM SCHOLAR  get award of 1250 per month for 11th and 12th, whereas for UG AND PG it was 2000 rupee. This year applicant of NTSE IS ONLY FROM 10TH CLASS.

IN 2018 NTSE CHANGED A LOT. In NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM question is changed a Lot as 50 MAT question as well as 100 SAT LANGUAGE QUESTIONS asked. NTSE ALSO INCREASE ITS SCHOLARSHIP AMONUT OR PRIZE.

The NTSE come with two stages with each and every part unique in itself.

NTSE(NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM)  STRATEGY : HOW TO CRACK NTSE:-

Ntse(National Talent search Exam) is only for those people who are economic under developed.

Student must be clear that he/she is going to appear for NTSE(NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAM). As we stated, NTSE has selection ratio of almost .001%. Total student appear in NTSE stage 1 is almost 19 lakh. 

Student must clear about the topics given in above syllabus. The above should be cleared by student for NTSE stage 2 in above prescribed method:-

  • Firstly,  NTSE student must study book of class 9th and 10th(NCERT).
  • Next step for NTSE Student, go through PEARSON books that is IIT FONDATION SERIES.
  • Next step for NTSE student, Go through TMH books for numerical type.
  • Next step for NTSE student, Go for english verbal books I.e ENGLISH.
  • Next student for NTSE student, Go for NTSE EXPLORRER then NTSE 20 year solved question after that Students must read NTSE PACKAGE.

Student must clear about the topics given in above syllabus. The above should be cleared by student for NTSE stage 2 in above prescribed method:-

Before appearing to this myself NTSE stage 1 must be clear that The student came from 19 Lakh student. The NTSE stage 2 is too much tougher in respect of NTSE stage 1. AS, student is going to compete for best of best. This let NTSE stage 1 too difficult in respect of NTSE stage 2.

Loss to clear NTSE stage 2:-

If you clear only NTSE  stage 1 you will not get anything after 6 month. Thats will crucial for NTSE.

How to apply for NTSE stage 1 as well as NTSE stage 2 exam:-

Phase 1 exam NTSE 2019 is scheduled for 03 and 04 November and phase 2 examination is scheduled for 12 May 2019. The examination is carried out in of - line mode (pen and paper). Last week of September 2018, NTSE 2019 Registration is completed. 

After downloading from the official website, candidates can fill out their application form offline. The Liaison Officer office will also be able to access their NTSA application form. The date on which a request was filed varies depending on the applicant state. Separate Stage 1 and Stage 2 application form must be completed.

Stage I application fee may apply according to the policies of the State. It must be validated when the form is collected. There is no application fee for steps II and only the fee must be paid in offline form, as other important details relating to NTSE's application form have been further described in the article. 

When registered successfully, applicants are allowed to use their NTSE Admit Card. After all details have been filled in, the candidate must submit the NTSE application form and be signed by the Principal. The Liaison Officer can submit the application form. Applicants applying for NTSE 2019 must meet minimum eligibility criteria.

 As on 1 July 2019, applicants shall not exceed 18 years. Before submitting your application form, applicants must fill out all the information carefully and verify it. After submission, no corrections are permitted. In May 2019 the NSTSS (National Science Talent Search Scheme) or National Talent Search Exam 2019 is carried out every year.

NTSE EXAM SHEDULES or dates:-

In the last week of September 2018 NTSE 2019 online application process starts. On 3 and 04 November 2019, the stage-1 examination will take place, and on 12 May 2019, the stage-2 examination. The following important dates are available for NTSE 2019 applicants:

NTSE ELIGIBILITY CARETERIA:-

Before completing the application form of. NTSE, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria. The admission process does not include a candidate who does not meet eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for school and graduation students set by NSTSS are given below.

NTSE stage 1 and stage 2 Eligibility for school students:
  • Student must be appearing for class 10 examination in the said BOARD.
  • Students who have applied for class 10 through distance learning can appear for the NTSE exam.
  • Age of application must be less than 18 years.

How to fill NTSE EXAM FORM:-

The registration process for NTSE 2019 starts from September 2018 last week. After downloading from the official website, candidates can fill out the application form offline. Applicants can also use the Liaison Officer's office to access their application form.

Once all details have been filled in in the application form, applicants may submit them by post to the State Liaison Officer address. Applicants may also submit a request form at the Liaison Officer's address by visiting themselves. The following steps can be taken to complete the application form for NTSE 2019.

Step 1: Registration and Downloading Application Form
  1. Visit the official website of NTSE, www.ncert.nic.in or above Given website.
  2. Click on link ‘Apply for NTSE 2019’
  3. Candidates have to fill the following credentials:
  • Candidates Name
  • Date of birth
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Educational Qualification etc.
  1. After filling all the credentials click on ‘submit’
  2. Download the NTSE Application Form
  3. Candidates can also get their Application Form from the office of Liaison Officers
Step 2: Filling Details in NTSE Application form
Candidates have to fill the following details in the application form in their own handwriting:
  • Basic details, Category, Address and Educational details, etc.
  • Candidates have to affix their photograph and signature in the provided space.
Step 3: Candidates have to attest NTSE 2019 Application Form from their Principal.
Step 4: Application fee as specified by the state/UT needs to be remitted by the candidates.
Step 5: Candidates can submit their Application Form in the Liaison Office via post or visiting the address of liaison officer.

Document to given to NTSE for appearing NTSE EXAM 


  • Colored photograph not older than 6 months from the date of form filling.
  • Dark background.
  • No goggles only simple spectacles.
  • No makeup in the photograph clicked for the form.
  • Hair must be properly tied.
  • Photograph must be clicked in school uniform.
  • Indian nationals do not have to produce any document with the application form.
  • Students of Indian origin who are doing class 10 from abroad, have to prove their Indian citizenship, so they have to attach a copy of class 11 marks.
